Rate adjustments for 2010–2011
Montreal, March 1, 2010 - Société GRICS would like to inform its clients of the following rate adjustments for 2010–2011.
In keeping with the priorities set by the Board of Directors, the main purpose of these adjustments is to recover a portion of system costs that affect Société GRICS. They are calculated based on the average increase in the cost of labour, the decrease in school enrolment and the increase in other costs that will have an impact on Société GRICS' operations in 2010–2011.
Adjustments effective March 1, 2010
A 2% increase will be applied to the following rates:
- training
- consulting
- custom development.
It is important to note that Société GRICS has revised its entire rate structure as it pertains to training, in order to:
- eliminate the concept of " refinement training " and cover everything under the "training" umbrella
- offer a simplified rate (cost per participant per day)
- simplify all training-related administrative processes, particularly registrations and invoicing.

N.B.: The rate adjustments coming into effect on July 1, 2010, will not apply to this service.
Adjustments effective July 1, 2010
A 2% increase will be applied to the following:
- product acquisition fees
- annual licence fees
- system support service fees for Société GRICS and Information Centre
- structure participation fees
- server access fees
- contributions to the software fund.
The above-mentioned rate adjustments will not apply to products for which rates have recently been established.
